Jewelry: 10 new faces to follow

Noted for their creations with strong identities, they are the ones that will make the jewelry of tomorrow. Focus on 10 designers to follow closely.

Alexandra Abramczyk owes her passion for jewelry to her father, of Argentinian origin, a silver collector who took her to antique fairs all over England. Trained in the fine arts of Madrid, she refined her taste for jewelry and moved to Paris, where she followed the courses of the National Institute of Gemology. After starting at Cartier, then at Graff in London, she launched her original eponymous brand with baroque accents: her first collection "Secret Glass" offers ten talisman pendants suspended from hammered chains. Multicolored shades set in gold with animal inspirations, where giraffes, koalas, seahorses and plants come to life thanks to delicate gradations of diamonds, sapphires, and tourmalines. Her earrings are inspired by the snake, which s 'wraps sensually around emeralds, opals, or rubellites.

Venomous ring by Alexandra Abramczyk

A snake with golden scales and gems nestling on one of the first creations from this newcomer on Place Vendome.

Recently installed a stone's throw from Place Vendôme, Alexandra Abramczyk is no less familiar with the mysteries of jewelry after having built a name over the years with Cartier or Graff. It is now solo that she exhibits her creations, centered on a sensual bestiary studded with precious stones. Beside his safari-style talisman necklaces is a more discreet ring: a thin gold ring in which a snake is curled up attracted by the brilliance of a marquise-cut diamond.
